Julie is a proud native west Texan growing up in small town Snyder, TX where she learned to love the game of golf playing alongside her dad and his buddies as a junior golfer.  She won a team state championship in 1997 with Snyder High School and in 2000 won a National Championship with Mary Hardin-Baylor.  

Julie started her golf career as  assistant teaching professional at The Club at Carlton Woods  from 2001-2009 and ran both ladies and junior programs and leagues.  She brought TGA Premier Junior Golf to north Houston area schools in 2009 and taught thousands of students the basics of golf through after school enrichment programs and PE classes.

Julie joined Summit Golf School in 2017 as part of our junior development program at Gleannloch Pines Golf Club.
